When We Were Younger
To me, there’s nothing more beautiful than the story of Jesus. A truly Divine, human love story. Each and every day this story makes an impact on my life more than I can even comprehend in my finite mind. This story is now my story and yet I’m only one person Jesus died to save, even when I was the worst of enemies, Love rescued me. When writing this song, I was humbled to realise just how low Jesus stooped to reconcile the ones He loves. He calls us friends, even though many of us wouldn’t even dare to call him such. The beauty and power of this love, that went through the most soul anguish, more than any of us could face, still reaches out after you. – Jade
