Is your focus on JESUS? (spoken word poetry) | ONE GLORY
We’re all born with our focus in the wrong place. Today this world presents us with so many attractions and distractions that take hold of our attention. There’s never peace, never a place to rest. It’s tiresome. Even within churches these days, many are without peace and are tired. It’s become awkward to even mention the Name above all other names in our conversations. The subject is quickly changed when Jesus is talked about in a personal way. We’d rather talk about anything else than talk about Jesus. Maybe, just maybe, if we spent more time with Him we would feel more comfortable talking about Him. My hope is we may echo the words of the apostle Paul. . .
“All I want is to know Christ. . .”
May God lead us to rest our attention on the so often rejected Cornerstone, our beautiful Saviour, Jesus Christ!
