Homemade Veggie Burger Patty // Wholesome and Tasty

Quinoa Hamburgers
1 C of quinoa
1 C of textured soy protein
2-3 medium carrots grated
1 C of chopped parsley
1 C of chopped green onions
1 tomato cubed plus 3 more
1/2 onion
4-6 cloves of garlic
4 Tbsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp of oregano
4 tbsp of nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp of seasoning
6 Tbsp of Bragg’s Liquid Aminos or soy sauce
2-3 Tbsp of unbleached all purpose flour
Cook the quinoa in 2 cups of water seasoned with you favorite vegetable broth or seasonings. Hydrate the soy protein with boiling water, once it cools down, squeeze the water out.
In a large bowl mix the quinoa and the soy protein. Add in the carrots, parsley, chopped tomato, green onions, oregano,seasoning, and liquid Aminos. Blend the 3 tomatoes, the onion, the chia seeds with about 1/2 cup of water. Add this to the bowl, mix it all very well. Add the flour, if needed to help it stick together.
Mold the the hamburgers, put them in a parchment lined baking sheet and bake it for about 40 minutes or until nicely browned.
